Looks like Kevin and I are going to Hastings for the cruise-in this Sat.

Brian, I forgot about the Elko event.  I'm not much of a circle track guy... but it's cool for those that like it.

 

No problem. I don't get into it much either, but these special Eve of Destruction events are more about crashing and stuff than real racing that's why I go.

I'll be there even bringing Gear Lub. I'll let him tell everyone about his new big block project.

We'll probably park in the same east end parking lot as last time.

Should get there between 3 and 3:30 p.m. to get spots.  We'll save you one.

Kevin has some spots scoped out for dinner.  Maybe he will post a location today.

 

If you get there that early there may be 3-4 spots open in front of the bank on the west end. Only advantage is afternoon shade, which may be helpful if it gets as hot as they predict, and the cars stay cleaner.

I was eyeing the east side of the store that is just west of the parking lot we use, shade is good. Last week Angie and I did some recon of Hastings. We had lunch at The Levy, just south of the VFW food has good.
