I am posting this for a potential club member who is trying to locate a 1960 348 v8 and Powerglide transmission for his 1960 El Camino.

If anyone knows where to find one, or salvage lots that would be worth calling please let me know so I can pass it on.

I'll forward this on to my brother, he has several 348s and PGs, but I'm just not sure if he has any he wants to sell right now.

I bought a seat from a guy in Missouri. He had multiple 59 through 64 full size Chevrolet Cars. If you can't find something close by, let me know and I can dig up his contact info. Karl

Is he looking for a complete ready to run engine or a builder? Does it have to be dated 1960?

I think he would be interested in either (builder or running).  He did not specify it had to be a 1960, but if he can locate one that would be his preference.
