I think Kevin and I are going to take the cars to Hastings Sat. since the weather looks good. Anyone interested can meet up at my house in Rosemount. Will probably leave there around 2:30 p.m.
PM if you want my address or get it off the members list.

Jon, we usually park in the parking lot on the main street that is on the far East end of the cruise route near the railroad tracks. It's easy in/easy out access that way.
We should be there around 3 p.m. because the downtown fills up fast even with it not officially starting until 5 p.m.

Sounds great John. Tina will like the idea that Sheryl is coming so that she can talk to someone that doesn't speak car giberish all the time!

Had a great time tonight. The Legion makes a mean California burger...
Guess my time was due - had a minor breakdown. On the way down I heard a "Tink", then a clank under the car. Thought I tossed a rock out of one of the tires.
Turns out it was my power steering reservoir cap. On the way out it must have gotten in the alternator belt (which was rolled 1/2-way over). A few minutes with some tools (thanks Craig) and some plastic & tape (Jon H.) and it was good to go for back home.
Have to scrounge the "junk box" for new cap tomorrow.

Tina and I had a great time too. It was great seeing John D., Jon H., Kevin, and Craig and of course everyone's wives! It was nice to have a social gathering that involved the Chevelles!
Thanks for stopping by the mini man cave and hanging out before too!
Ran into some other Chevelle folks that we know (you know who you are).
Made it home without any issues and didn't see any Bambi's at dusk either, which was a good thing.
I attached a few pics from the day.

Glad you made it home in one piece. Now some engine cleaner and H20 and like new again, after a new belt and cap that is. Nice to see everyone and their wives. Very enjoyable.

Great time yesterday, Angie and I had a great time. G, I want to hear more stories. John had the issue with his PS cap, Jon and John put the band aid on it.
As we where leaving, just as we crossed Main Street my high pressure AC hose blew, big mess. Pulled over one block south of main street and did the best we could to clean up the mess. While Angie and I where wiping the oil out of the engine compartment this guy came by and wanted to talk about the truck....
Anyone know of a shop in the metro area that builds AC hoses??

"Pirtek" or "Pertek" or something like that. They're all over, but I know of a shop on University & Vandalia/Cretin in St. Paul. I think they'll even to "on-site" hose builds too (for a fee of course).
