As of 12/1 the Caralina has been sold and is going it be shipped to Madero Mexico. It seems it is now truly part of the "Southern Cruzers Car Club."
Congrats on the quick sale. I had taken a '50 Lincoln there that belonged to a friend who recently passed and it sold about the same time as well as a '69 Chevelle another friend recently took to Unique. I didn't think this time of year would be a great time to sell cars but I guess folks are always looking.

If you go LS, the funds will go really fast.
Yep, I purchased a book on LS A body swaps.
After 2-3 chapters convinced me it way more work that I'm interested in doing at this point and too expensive.

The engines themselves are cheap horsepower.
Everything that makes them fit and run can be kind of expensive. The Chinese copy-cat parts have brought the total cost down a lot in the last few years if you wanted to go that route.
Maybe build A 400 SB
