Aside from the drive would there be any monetary advantage to crossing the border into Iowa?

I wish it was close enough. What I'd save in property taxes would quickly be burned in the gas tank though. It's about 50 minutes from Rochester to the IA border.

I really doubt if you would save much on taxes, you would be shocked at what I pay on our house in this small town and the shop is zoned commercial. At least I can buy non ethenol gas for now anyway.
